2012

Ok, so these we my New Year’s resolutions, if you want the reasoning for them check out the first post on this blog! Otherwise some of them may seem a bit batty… Anyway, this is where I can keep track of them!

  1. This year I must attend gigs and shows.
I’ve been to two live gigs this year – that’s one more than last year. I am therefore successful! Though I will continue seeking new musical experiences – hopefully one each month…
  2. Become more active in important issues.
This is kind of hard to define… I will count myself successful if I do something with a charity this year.
  3. Do yoga EVERYday.
Failed. But I have done more yoga days than non-yoga days so far this year. By the end of the year I will get half a point for this one if I keep it that way!
  4. Join a dance group.
I have been to a hiphop class! I intend to go back, and I am going to ballet next week too – yay!
  5. Get my C.V. polished and see a careers advisor.
And a beautiful and kick-ass C.V. it is too!
  6. Solve a globe puzzle.
    DONE!
Blog concerning this joyous occasion to follow…
  7. Post a new instagram photo every day and tell a little story about it.
So I missed a lot of days. Life got in the way… BUT it’s never too late to keep on trying. Maybe I’ll manage more than half the year?
  8. Start a savings account.
Currently don’t have anything to put into one even if I did have it… work in progress people.
  9. Buy some blank postcards and draw some pretty things and send them to friends and family over the year.
I’d forgotten about this one until I decided to make this page on 14th January… Better get a shift on and find some blank postcards!~

New additions:

  1.  Start learning to play guitar.
I might change this to piano, just because strings hurt my fingers so much, and I almost prefer piano…
Update: I bought a bass guitar. I love it!
  2. Get my dissertation draft finished before term starts.
Failed – oh well; it will be done in the next couple of days so I’m not chronically far behind.
Break-ups do this to you. BUT it was awesome when it was finished!
